Pool coping is a material that is installed to finish the top edge of the pool. Pre-cast concrete with a bull-nose front edge or flagstone have been the standard pool coping for many years.

Today’s modern pool designs are making use of cantilever, bull-nose brick and natural stone coping. Even better, there are many colors and textures from which to choose.

Cantilever decks (poured concrete) extend the concrete pool deck over the edge of the pool, thereby eliminating the need for coping at all. It eliminates the maintenance of an expansion joint between the coping and pool deck, and can provide more usable deck space.
